The purpose of the museum workshops is to help enrich the knowledge of history and culture, form new skills, and offer entertainment. Targeted to diverse audience and covering various subjects, the most visited are those related to traditions and rituals, and to local and genealogical studies. Young people are the most active participants in the workshops.

Lectures, presentations, and access to authentic items help the participants acquire and improve their skills and knowledge in the specialized library and in the museum archive with the assistance of experts. Materials are provided and the participants may work on the tasks offered with their names as authors cited. They may also invite friends or take part in a workshop as many times as they might wish.
